"There's nothing like seeing an Angel in the morning to get your day started right. Angel at Grid Iron Waffle in Montclair, NJ, that is, greeted us warmly. I took my father and my son, 3 family generations, for an impromptu surprise breakfast. Places like this are important for harried moms battling the morning rush. Angel got us 3 heavenly waffles, a mocha and regular coffee in minutes.... The waffles were just Delicately crispy on the outside and feather light on the inside. I had strawberries and my 10 year old had bananas on ours which were fresh and sliced well (not crushed or bruised). The mocha was well balanced without the bitterness of over roasting. My father even liked it & asked to take the menu for take out. He said it was clean and the right way to do business....All in all, a warm friendly fun meal! We'll definitely be back!"
